Bio

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. focused on examining the influence of humanitarian aid in protracted crisis environments and its implications on conflict dynamics. My research interests encompass a range of topics, including the transition from humanitarian assistance to long-term development and resilience-building efforts. Furthermore, I am deeply engaged in the fields of conflict management, disaster risk reduction, as well as the interrelated domains of food and nutrition security and sustainable food systems.

I am registered at the Graduate School of Humanities and Digital Sciences (TSHD) in collaboration with the Zero Hunger Lab of Tilburg School of Economics and Management (TiSEM). In addition to my association with Tilburg University, I am presently linked with ZOA-Dorcas, a Dutch humanitarian organization. I work and live in Juba, South Sudan.
