I am Jorgo Goossens, fourth year Ph.D. Candidate at the department of Econometrics & Operations Research at Tilburg University and researcher at APG Asset Management. I hold academic degrees in econometrics, (teaching) mathematics and finance. My expected graduation date is Summer 2022.
My research areas cover (behavioral) asset pricing, macro finance, experimental finance and household finance. I am an instructor for an undergraduate course in quantitative finance and I lecture an executive master course in risk perception at the TIAS Business School. I also supervise graduate (MSc.) and undergraduate (BSc.) theses.
I was awarded an Industrial Doctorate Grant from the Dutch Research Council NWO for my Ph.D. research, jointly with my supervisors Bas Werker, Marike Knoef, Eduard Ponds and Rob van den Goorbergh.
