I use field experiments to analyze the causal effect of (behavioral) incentives on behaviors that have an impact on the environment, such as household energy use and household waste management.
My PhD position is part of a joint project between the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency ("Planbureau voor de leefomgeving", PBL) and the Tilburg Sustainability Center (TSC). My supervisors are prof.dr. D. van Soest and dr. B. Vollaard, and my co-supervisors from PBL are dr. J. Bouma en prof.dr. H. Vollebergh. Planned graduation date: summer 2020.
