Bio
My work at Tilburg University allows me to combine my academic expertise and my corporate experience. As Academic Director I am responsible for the educational quality of the Master Strategic Management. I work with researchers, lecturers and support staff to create a program that challenges students to develop themselves academically and personally.
Teaching
Over the years I have taught courses in Operations Management, Strategy, Research Skills, and Entrepreneurship. Currently, Sustainable Entrepreneurship has my full attention. What I enjoy about this course, is the challenging content that is so relevant in today's world. In the course we invite students to engage with the Sustainable Development Goals, and to reflect on different academic approaches in relation to the role of business in the transformation of industries towards greater sustainability. Every year, I work with ten to fifteen students who write their master thesis. I thoroughly enjoy being in a position where I can contribute to their learning process in this final stage of their education.
