As part of the broader ERC project on ‘Political Apologies across Cultures’, my PhD project explores how political apologies are viewed within different cultural contexts. The research objective is to examine whether key assumptions regarding these apologies hold across cultures or whether they vary as a function of differences in collectivistic and individualistic values and face and honor norms.
