Bio

My research focuses on language use and the cognitive processes of text interpretation. Specifically, I investigate the effects of issue framing and valence framing in real language use contexts such as online reviews, surveys, and voting advice applications. For investigating those issues, I apply a wide variety of research methods, such as big data research, controlled experiments and think-aloud studies (see https://ojs.ub.uni-konstanz.de/srm/article/view/6728 for an example of combined methodologies).
