Bio

My research examines how organizations understand and construe time and temporalities in attending to social, environmental issues. I focus particularly on vocabularies and grammatical structures of organization language that reflects and affects perceptions of organizational actors. I also study how organizations engage with various stakeholders who have different interests, power, and temporal orientations in pursuit of sustainable development.

Before joining Tilburg University as an assistant professor, I did my PhD in General Management specialized in Sustainability from Ivey Business School, Western University (University of Western Ontario). I received a MS in International Business and Strategy, and a BBA and BA in Chinese Literature and Linguistics, both from Korea University.
