Bio

Martijn works as research policy advisor at the Tilburg School of Humanities and Data Sciences (TSHD). Hy studied history at Utrecht University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison (US), and later obtained his master's degree in history and philosophy of science at Utrecht University and Oxford University with cum laude distinction. As policy advisor, Martijn is committed to stimulate a responsible, reflexive, and open research culture. Besides his work for Tilburg University, Martijn investigates this history of preventive child health intervention throughout the twentieth century as a PhD-researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam en the Erasmus MC. Before that, he was researcher and lecturer in sociology of late modern science for Utrecht University's Open Science Programme.
