Claire Tan Sze Eng is a PhD at the Zero Hunger Lab, focusing on Anticipatory Action of humanitarian crises. Her research focuses on enabling anticipatory action for migration. Her current research is on humanitarian cash transfers for vulnerable migrants on the move, and on understanding destination preferences in forced migration settings. She holds a Msc in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Singapore Management University, majoring in both Political Sciences and Psychology.
Claire uses a mix of quantitative and qualitative methodologies in her research.
Currently open to collaborations regarding migration and humanitarian operations.
