Bio

My name is Steffie van den Bosch and I am working as an Assistant Professor at the Private, Business and Labour Law (PBLL) department at Tilburg Law School. Moreover, I am Program Director of the Joint Bachelor Data Science (JBDS), which is a collaboration between Tilburg University and the Technical University of Eindhoven.

In my research, I am particularly interested in the way in which large companies can be stimulated in the field of corporate responsibility and disclosure. My PhD research, which I defended on 31 August 2022, focuses on how and to what extent large, listed companies in Europe integrate sustainability into their risk governance and how they subsequently report on it. I have used a functional comparative law study as well as empirical research with economic analyses (including panel regressions and difference-in-differences).
