Bio
Dr. Thomas Joyce is Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Law at Tilburg University. A researcher with broad interests; Thomas completed his PhD in Criminology at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where his research focused on the intersection between drugs and cybercrime. He also has significant experience in the development of projects and proposals for the European Union, having previously worked as a researcher for the criminological research institute Transcrime, including as Head of Proposal Coordination. Thomas has extensive editorial knowledge, having worked as the Managing Editor of the European Journal on Criminal Policy and Research, and has studied, taught, and conducted research in many countries, including France, Czech Republic, Spain, Japan, Italy, his native Ireland, and the Netherlands.
