Vilma Chila, is a Ph.D. candidate in Strategic Management at Tilburg School of Economics and Management, Tilburg University. She is interested in entrepreneurship, innovation strategy, and strategic management. Her research focuses on employee entrepreneurship (new ventures created by former employees of existing firms) and innovation, and it aims at gaining insights into a) what drives employee entrepreneurship and mobility, b) whether and how employee entrepreneurship unleashes selection pressures on incumbent firms, and c) how knowledge inheritance affects the behavior and performance of new ventures and existing firms.
