Bio

Dr. Ya-Ping (Amy) Hsiao is a Senior Assessment Specialist and Teacher Trainer of University Teaching Qualification and Senior University Teaching Qualification at Teacher Development. She also supports lecturers in applying grants for innovation projects in higher education. Her assessment expertise has been accredited as Fellow status by the Association of Educational Assessment – Europe.

She completed her MEd (2002) degree in Education Entrepreneurship and Management at National University of Tainan in Taiwan, MSc (2004) degree in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics at University of Edinburg in United Kingdom, and MSc (2007) degree in Educational Science and Technology (Track: Educational Management, Evaluation & Assessment)  at University of Twente in the Netherlands. She completed her PhD (2016) degree in Educational Science and Technology at the Open University of the Netherlands. Her PhD thesis focused on designing peer support to facilitate collaborative knowledge sharing.
