Letter of acceptance

Letter of acceptance

In order to be fully enrolled as a student at Tilburg University, you must be unconditionally admitted. Usually, you will first receive a conditional admission to a study program. This means that you still have to meet certain conditions before your admission is finalized. These conditions, such as obtaining the diploma of your prior education, will be explained in your conditional admission letter. If you meet all the conditions, your final admission will be processed administratively. This can take up to two weeks. As soon as your final admission has been fully processed, the To-do item ‘Letter of acceptance’ will disappear from your To-do list.

Procedure for students who completed their prior education outside the Netherlands

You can monitor the progress of your admission request in our online application system OSIRIS Aanmeld. You can check the webpage Finalize your admission for more information on how to turn your conditional admission into unconditional admission.

Procedure for students with prior education in the Netherlands

You can only be unconditionally admitted if you have successfully completed your prior education. If you do not have your prior education diploma at the start of the academic year, you need to submit an original graduation statement, in which the institution of your prior education declares that you have graduated and that only the actual graduation ceremony has to take place.

Deposit the original graduation statement (not a copy!) in the white mailbox of the Student Desk at the reception of Academia Building not later than August 31 for intake in September or January 31 for intake in February. You may also mail them to: Tilburg University, Student Desk A 301, PO Box 90153, 5000 LE Tilburg.
