Join our Student Crew
As an ambassador in the Student Crew, you represent Tilburg University during various information activities. Consider Open Days, Student-For-A-Days or online webinars. Most of our activities take place on campus or are in a an online environment.
The recruitment activities take place all year round, but the peak periods are in October-November and March-April. This makes the job flexible and easy to combine with your own studies. It is worth mentioning that we cannot guarantee you a minimum number of hours because in some months we offer little or no recruitment activities
Where do you end up?
You will soon be one of the 80 ambassadors from the crew. This consists of national and international students from all corners of our university. You will be supervised by the Events Team who is ready to assist you. This means you are never alone during the activities and you always meet new fellow ambassadors. Before you start as an ambassador, you will be prepared by the Events Team through training. This way you learn what to expect and how to handle your responsibilities as an ambassador. Your presentation skills will also be trained.
What are you going to do?
One thing is certain: you are in frequent contact with prospective students and their parents. It is your job to inform and enthuse them about our university, the courses and of course Tilburg student life. You can do this, among other things, by sharing your own experiences as a student. Your activities are diverse and may include:
- Welcome and guide visitors during our events,
- Providing presentations and workshops for prospective students on location or on campus,
- Answering questions about your studies at fairs and information markets
- Giving campus tours and guiding prospective students
- Present online webinars on various areas of interest and study choice-related topics,
- Help with the preparations for our events, such as preparing materials.
Who are you?
You enjoy being in direct contact with the target group of prospective students and their parents. Your communication skills are therefore excellent. What else do we expect from you?
Must haves
• You are a bachelor's student, preferably in the second year of your studies
• You have a proactive attitude and make contact easily
• Public speaking is not an issue for you
• You are flexible in both your work and your availability
• You are always available during the Open Days (November 2, 2024, February 15, 2025)
• You have obtained at least 60 credits when you start the position (September 2024).
• You speak fluent English

- A salary of at least €21.11 gross per hour (based on your ECTS),
