Discover your Talents

During the Career Week, Student Career Services offers you a Discover your Talents workshop. During this 3-hour workshop you will create a profound personal profile by answering questions as ‘Who am I? ‘What am I good at?’ and ‘What do I really like to do?’. You will reflect on your own competences as well as become aware of which ones you might have to develop or strengthen. These insights will help you make to make a first profound step towards the labor market. The information you collect, can be used for creating your resume, LinkedIn profile and during application procedures. Beforehand you make a preparatory assignment.

This workshop is organized twice during the Tilburg University Career Week:

  • Monday, April 17, 13.30 - 16.30 in English
  • Tuesday, April 18, 13.00 - 16.00 in Dutch

Job consultation hours

Would you like specific, practical tips for successful job applications? Every Monday and Thursday between 13.00 and 14.00, we offer consultation hours for job applicants (there is an extra timeslot for TiSEM students: on Thursdays between 16.00 and 17.00, which can be planned via consultation hours for TiSEM job applicants). We offer you advice on the application procedure, the job interview and/or your application letter, LinkedIn profile or CV. We also answer any questions you may have about applying for jobs.

Career guidance

If these consultation hours do not sufficiently fit your needs, you can always make an appointment for career guidance with the Career Services Officer of your School via the Tilburg University Career Portal or via TiSEM Career Portal for TiSEM students. This is also a service which you can use outside of the Tilburg University Career Week.
