Workshop Reorientation on Study Program
Are you a first-year student at Tilburg University and are you considering choosing a different study program? Or have you already quit your study program this academic year? If so, then this brief workshop is for you. It will help you prepare to choose a new study program.
What will you learn?
After you have completed the workshop, you will know:
- How to go about choosing the right study program.
- What you would like to do differently.
- What you are good at.
- What you find interesting.
- What you need to bear in mind.
During the workshop, you will identify and explore your skills and interests. You will also look at which criteria are important to you in a study program. You will work on assignments designed to give you better insight into what might suit you best.
Prior to the workshop you will complete an online 'career test for choosing a study'. You will discuss the results of this questionnaire during the workshop and possibly during the individual follow-up interview afterwards.
The workshop will also discuss what you still need to make a good choice and how to go about it. The Career Coach will guide the process and provide you with plenty of information. Of course, you will make the final decision yourself.
For specific questions regarding registration (and deregistration), student grants and the content of study programs, we refer you to the relevant organizations. These subjects are not discussed at the workshop.
