Keuzegids Universiteiten 2023: Two top-rated programs and six Bachelor’s programs rank # 1
In the Keuzegids Universiteiten 2023, published today, two Bachelor’s programs at Tilburg University are awarded the quality label of "top program," while students have ranked six Tilburg University Bachelor’s programs as the best in their field. In the annual Keuzegids Universiteiten, all academic Bachelor’s programs are compared, largely based on student satisfaction measured through the National Student Survey (NSE).
Philosophy and Theology top-rated programs
With a total score of 80, the Philosophy Bachelor’s program belongs to the top of Dutch academic education. This program has therefore been awarded the ‘top-rated program’ quality label by the CHOI (Center for Higher Education Information, the editor of the Keuzegids). The Theology Bachelor’s program also achieved a total score of 80 and may therefore also use the 'top-rated program’ quality label. This label is awarded to any program with a total score of at least 75 points.
Six Bachelor’s programs best in their field
The Tilburg University Bachelor’s programs in Online Culture, Philosophy, Fiscal Economics, Global Law, Tax Law (Fiscaal Recht) and Public Administration (Bestuurskunde) all achieve higher scores than competing programs and can be rightfully called the best programs in their fields. The Bachelor’s program of Economics also performs well in comparison with similar programs at other universities (second place among eleven programs).
Across all Bachelor’s programs, Tilburg University scores 61.5 points in the new edition of the Keuzegids, slightly exceeding the national average of 61.2. The highest score, 71.5 points, again goes to Wageningen University.

Similar to the edition of 2022, the scores in this edition reflect students' satisfaction with the following aspects: program content, lecturers, examination and assessment, alignment with professional practice, and atmosphere.
