Global Law Lab on "Global rewilding and ecological restoration law" with Prof. Benjamin Richardson

On Tuesday 7 February Prof. Benjamin Richardson will present at a Global Law Lab seminar on "Global rewilding and ecological restoration law". An abstract can be found below. All are welcome.

Global law has a strong spatial bias, but what are its implications for time and how does time affect global law? This seminar examines the temporal dimensions of global law, with a case study of global environmental law and ecological restoration. The Anthropocene should be understood as essentially a result of the misalignment between human and natural timescales. The seminar analyses the methodological challenges in incorporating time in global environmental governance.

All are welcome. Should you be interested in attending please notify Phillip Paiement at
