Date: Time: 12:45 Location: L 104

At November 27 we offer you the unique possibility to program your own robot. During this session, we will have a robot from Lego Mindstorms to our disposal with a wide range of different sensors.

To program this robot you do not need to have any prior programming knowledge and it fun and intuitive way to learn how to control a small robot. However behind the fun aspect you are actually learning the very intuitive idea of how to program anything. You learn how to give commandos to a machine and the endless opportunities that you can create. This is a fun and practical way to put your mind to work!

Do you already have some more coding experience you can learn how to program one of the smallest and most widely used computers in the world, the Raspberry Pi. This very small computer is made to be programmed, there are some simple programming tools on it but also the more complicated opportunities exist. For the more difficult possibilities some python knowledge is recommended, as this small computer was originally specifically designed for python. The opportunities are however endless, you could build a small robot, control any object or machine, or build anything in your imagination. During this session we will help you to create a smart speaker with the help of a raspberry Pi and some small tools.
