Background
One of the more popular summer schools, co-funded by all 13 Dutch universities and multiple multi-nationals, is the Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School (NAHSS). NAHSS provides a unique opportunity for 2nd and 3rd year Dutch students to discover Asia/China, to study at an Asian/Chinese university and to undertake multi-disciplinary project work for an influential multi-national.
The NAHSS yearly offers 100 excellent bachelor students the opportunity to gain knowledge of China. The participants follow an extensive programme that informs them about the Chinese academic world, business life and culture.
Program
The program of the NAHSS changes every year. Roughly, you are working on your project between March and September. Besides the visit to Asia the program consists of a kick-off weekend, master class, visits to partners. The detailed program for the next NAHSS can be found via this link.
Who is eligible?
- You are a 2nd or 3rd year bachelor student
- You speak English fluently
- You are an excellent student and meet one the following requirements:
- you follow the honors track
- you have performed distinctive extracurricular activities
- you have an average grade of minimum 8/10
Application and selection
The application period for 2023 has now passed.
All applicants will receive the outcome in February 2023.
