Esplanade for students
The Esplanade building is a student center on campus of Tilburg University, where a number of facilities are located.
Black Box Theater
On the ground floor of the Esplanade building is the university theater the Black Box, very useful for presentations, workshops and symposia and of course theatre.
Dimensions of the floor: 10 x 10 m.
Number of seats: 90 max.
Piano: standard present
Ballet room
Also on the ground floor there is a ballet hall. This is a spacious and bright dance studio with wooden floors and a mirrored wall. The hall is suitable for rehearsals and workshops in dance, drama and singing, and as part of the Sports Center sports program.
Workspaces
On the first and second floor of the Esplanade building are the offices and work spaces of the study associations.
Multipurpose room
On the second floor is a multipurpose room ('Cultuurtuin') to be used for common use: presentations, workshops, meetings, rehearsals. A piano is available.

The Esplanade Building is open Monday / Friday from 09:00 am to 22:00 pm. For reservations outside these hours, and for more information about using and/or renting the building please contact the caretaker of the Esplanade building via the Facility Service Desk: facilityservicedesk@tilburguniversity.edu.
