Diploma supplement

The Diploma Supplement, developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO/CEPES is a document attached to a degree certificate.

As from the 1st of May 2005, all students graduating a bachelor or master study will receive the Diploma Supplement, together with their diploma. It is designed to provide a description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were pursued and successfully completed by the individual named on the original qualification to which this supplement is appended.

Requirements for receiving the Diploma Supplement Label include, among other things that a Diploma Supplement will be issued in a widely spoken European language and free of charge to all students upon graduation in all first and second cycle degree programs.
