Tilburg University Career Week

Good preparation for the job market is important. And that is why our Schools offer an event every year in cooperation with the study associations. Until last year, most of these events were only specifically aimed at the target group within the School. However, since you as students are sometimes also interested in broader career opportunities, we want to open the events to all students under the name 'Career Week Tilburg University'.

Economic Business weeks Tilburg (EBT) | April 6 - 23

The Economic Business weeks Tilburg (EBT) is the largest career event of Tilburg University and one of the largest recruitment events in The Netherlands. This event annually brings over 1,500 students of every field of study in Economics, Management and Behavioural Sciences in contact with more than 80 companies operating within all sorts of sectors.

The 23rd edition will take place from April 6 – 23, 2021! During these three weeks you can get inspired during the Business Night and the Sustainability Symposium, prepare yourself at the Training Day and orientate on specific branches during the Consultancy Experience and the Big Four Accountancy Experience. Challenge yourself during the Case Days and join the varied program with workshops, presentations, individual conversations, informal activities and business lunches or dinners during the Company Days.

Social Sciences Career Event Tilburg (SCT) | April 19 - 21

The Social Sciences Career Event Tilburg (SCT) is a career event for students who are interested in a career regarding the social and behavioral aspects of society. This event connects all the students of Global Management of Social Issues, Human Resource Management, Organization Studies, Psychology and Sociology to the companies within their work field. The SCT offers students the opportunity to broaden their future perspective and to orientate themselves in the labor market, while at the same time it also brings the organizations in contact with prospective employees.

Legal Business Days Tilburg | April 19 - 23

The JBT (Juridische Bedrijvendagen Tilburg in Dutch) is the career event for the students of who are interested in a career in law. During this event students have the opportunity to expand their network, develop their skills and present themselves during the various lectures, workshops and networking drinks in cooperation with law firms and companies. The week consists of: the Legal Profession Day (April 19), the International Day (April 20), the Brabant Business Lunch (April 21), the Business Day (April 22) and the Public Administration Day (April 23).

TSHD Career Day | April 22

The annual TSHD Career Day offers students the possibility to orientate on the labor market and prepare for your future career. The online event be will opened with a keynote opening, informing your around bridging the gap between your study program and career perspectives. What can you do to prepare yourself and figure out your own career path? After that, we have separate alumni sessions for each study program where you can learn from experiences of our graduates.

Afterwards, there will be afternoon sessions. Study Association Flow will organize different kinds of cases, workshops and company talks. Followed by an online networking market, featuring a networking platform that is designed to give you the real ‘market-feeling’. On this market, multiple companies in all kinds of different fields will present themselves, have recruiters around, and are ready to meet you! Study Associations Extra Muros, Sapientia Ludenda and Animo are joining forces to tell you more about navigating the job market and preparing for your career with a broad humanities background.
