Tilburg University Career Week 2023
From April 17 to 21, career orientation takes center stage during Career Week. This Week offers a packed program of workshops, lectures, networking opportunities and information sessions. So plenty of opportunities to prepare for a good start to your career during your studies. Leading up to Career Week is Preparation Day, on February 13.
Scriptorium: Tilburg University’s academic writing center
Would you like free-of-charge coaching during your writing assignments, such as a paper, a report, or your thesis? The Scriptorium offers one-on-one tutoring sessions for writing in both Dutch and English as well as drop-in hours. You can also get assistance with searching for literature, consulting databases, and citing sources.
At Studium Generale, scholars, students, alumni and other curious people meet in search of new questions, answers and perspectives. Would you like to learn more about current topics or specific subjects? Or are you staying on campus for a film or concert? Check out what Studium Generale has to offer!

No idea yet? No problem! In this workshop you will work on this: what are your personal motives? From what vision do you want to improve the world? If you don’t have an idea yet, you will start working with ideation tools to develop a great idea based on these questions. If you already have an idea, you will further sharpen your vision based on trends and environmental factors. And much more!

SG Film: Cold War (Zimna wojna)
Every first Tuesday of the month, you can enjoy the best movies on the big screen on campus. This month, we will be showing the award-winning and passionate love story Cold War. In the 1950s, a music director falls in love with a singer and tries to persuade her to flee communist Poland for France. (Polish spoken - subtitles English)
