Active on a board

Making friends, building a network, training your skills, and enriching your CV with practical experience: these are just some of the advantages of being active in the board of a study or student association, a university committee, or a representative council.

As an active board member, you may be asked for tasks such as fundraising, cash committee, text editing, and organizing conferences, company visits, or trips abroad. But it is not all work and no play: parties, drinks, galas, sports matches, and walking dinners also appear on the agenda on a regular basis.

When you are on a board, you can request Compensation for Board Activities; a grant. This grant amounts to 300 Euros per grant. Every year, you can apply for a maximum of nine grants.
