Personal website

As a political philosopher and ethicist, my research is situated at the borders of ethics and economics. I have worked on topics such as rationality, self-interest and reciprocity, but also on inequality, justice, paternalism and the moral limits of markets. Rececently, I have focused primarily on conceptual and normative questions surrounding 'nudging', ways of influencing people's behavior by making use of recent psychological and behavioral insights.
