My research aims to contribute to inclusion, sustainability and multiculturalism from the bottom up, through individual and/or small-group endeavours. I explore these goals in two different research areas.
The first one focuses on promoting multilingualism in multicultural families. I primarily work with immigrant families and teachers working in multilingual/multicultural classrooms, examining family language policy. The second research area is more deeply entrenched in intercultural (business) communication. I collaborate with business professionals and changemakers to investigate how they navigate their communication to create resilient and sustainable cultures in organizations.
