Bio

I am professor of community mental health at Tranzo, Tilburg School of Social and Behavioural Sciences at Tilburg University and Head of the Department Care and Participation at Trimbos Institute (Netherlands Institute of Mental Health and Addiction). My research focus is on the organization of community care and interventions for persons with (severe) mental illnesses. Special interests: (flexible) assertive community treatment, quality of life and empowerment, deinstitutionalization, cognitive remediation, collaboration of professional and informal networks.
