As a former high-tech entrepreneur for 15 years, having co-founded several cloud-based startups that rely on artificial intelligence, I gained firsthand experience raising venture capital and building strategic relationships with established high-tech firms in Madrid, Paris, London and Silicon Valley.
My academic interests in entrepreneurship are focused on team-level creativity performance and innovation management decision-making, based on ties between established firms and startup ventures (i.e., corporate venturing, corporate venture capital (CVC), venture client). I use behavioral theoretical perspectives to examine actual decisions taken in relation to intended strategic aims.
