Bio

I am associate professor in the field of ancient history and the pedagogy of history in higher education at the Tilburg Center of the Learning Sciences and University College Tilburg. I am project leader of the research projects "It Is Not All About Good Grades: Intellectual, Personal and Civil Learning Gain in Higher Education" and "Topic Selection in Higher History Education", and I have been the project leader of the education project: "The Resilience Project" at UC Tilburg. From 2018-2024, I have been academic director of the Liberal Arts and Sciences bachelor's program at University College Tilburg.
