Workshop Chinese Food therapy (fully booked)

Date: Time: 18:45 Location: Het Zwijsengebouw

Feeling good about yourself and being in balance, that is what everyone wants. It sounds so simple but we still find it hard, even though we have all the information on healthy food. We can’t see the forest for the trees with all these diet trends. What actually works and what doesn’t? And what would suit you personally?

Program
Chinese food therapy is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, of which acupuncture is best known in the western world. According to this philosophy, food has a prominent preventive role in medicine. During this workshop, you will get information on ways in which to apply Chinese food therapy in your own kitchen in a practical way. The five elements of Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal will be discussed. These elements are reflected in our bodies, nature, and the seasons. Spring is the season of the Wood element.

During the workshop, we further focus on food and the energy that belongs to spring. The workshop will be taught by nutritional consultant Nathalie Verdult and starts at 19:00 hrs.

  • 18:45-19:00 hrs.          Reception with delightful cup of herb tea
