New in Library Access: search database via context menu09th August 2019
The latest version of the Library Access extension brings something new to your browser: Highlight text on a webpage and Search one of our selected databases using the highlight text as a search term. This option is available in the context menu of your browser, i.e. by right-clicking on a web page.

Now you can browse through our library collection while searching WorldCat Discovery.
Study places for students
There are approximately 900 workstations in the library. There are workstations with or without a PC and group workstations. It is also possible to use your own laptop. On levels 0 and 2 you work in silence. You can reserve a workstation in the library.
A limited number of PCs are available for so-called "early birds", which means that these workstations cannot be reserved.
Tilburg University Card
The valid Tilburg University Card is the card that is used for multiple purposes and also gives access to the University Library.
Students and staff of Tilburg University can borrow books and av-materials on presentation of the University Card.
Visitors can purchase a loaner's card at the library desk to borrow books.
Visitors with a valid ID can request a day card at the Library Desk. The day card gives access to the library and the workplaces without a PC. During exam periods at Tilburg University, the library is only accessible to students of Tilburg University and visitors with a library card. During exam periods day cards are not provided.
