Netherlands-Asia Honors Summer School (NAHSS)
One of the more popular summer schools, co-funded by 12 Dutch universities and multiple multi-nationals, is the Netherlands-Asia Honours Summer School (NAHSS). NAHSS provides a unique opportunity for second and third year Dutch students to discover Southeast Asia and China, to study at an Asian university and to undertake multi-disciplinary project work for an influential multi-national.

The NAHSS yearly offers 70-100 excellent bachelor students the opportunity to gain knowledge of China and Southeast Asia. The participants follow an extensive program that informs them about the Chinese academic world, business life and culture
Program
The program of the NAHSS changes every year. Roughly, you are working on your project between March and September. Besides the visit to Asia the program consists of a kick-off weekend, master class, visits to partners. See the detailed program for the next NAHSS.
Who is eligible?
- You are a 2nd or 3rd year bachelor student
- You are fluent in English in speaking and writing
- You have affinity with Southeast Asia and China
- You are ambitious, social, active, open-minded and entrepreneurial
- You are an excellent student and meet one the following requirements:
- you follow the honors track and/or
- you have performed distinctive extracurricular activities and/or
- you have an average grade of minimum 7,5/10
Application and selection
The application period for runs from December 1, 2023 until January 10, 2024
All applicants will receive the outcome in February 2024
