Minor in Dutch Law (30 ECTS, in Dutch)

The Dutch Law minor consists of four Dutch Law courses (in Dutch) and the course GLB: Tax Law, offered in the first semester of the third year. In addition, Dutch Law minor students take the course Burgerlijk processrecht en geschiloplossing in their last semester, instead of GLB: Commercial Law:

Students intending to obtain civiel effect should contact the Education Coordinator to make a study plan.

Please note: The courses offered in Dutch are also only offered on campus.

Why follow the Dutch Law minor?

  • You wish to practice law in the Netherlands. The Dutch Law minor includes 5 of the 8 bachelor courses required to obtain civiel effect (CE).
  • You wish to follow the master Fiscaalrecht (which requires 30 CE credits + a number of other courses)
  • You wish to follow the master Rechtsgeleerdheid (which requires 48 CE credits, 30 of which are required for admission)
  • You wish to follow the master Ondernemingsrecht (which requires all 30 CE credits + Business Law)
