Two Vidi grants for Johan Wolswinkel and Tineke Snijders
29th June 2023The NWO has awarded two Vidi grants to Tilburg Scientists. Professor of Administrative Law, Market and Data Johan Wolswinkel of Tilburg Law School receives a grant for his research: Decision-making in times of open government: from "rule transparency" to "case transparency". And Dr. Tineke Snijders of the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences receives a Vidi for her research: Listening with your eyes in the developing brain.

Guide for supervisors improves support for employees with mental health issues
27th June 2023A new, science-based approach can help supervisors support their employees with mental health issues. It involves identifying and discussing mental problems with employees and adjusting the work environment in a timely fashion to prevent absenteeism. This is shown by Suzanne van Hees in her PhD research. She will defend her PhD thesis at Tilburg University on Friday, June 30, 2023.
