Four Tilburg researchers receive NWO Open Competition SGW XS grant
19th April 2023The awards of round 3 of the Open Competition SGW-XS pilot programme are a fact. Four researchers from Tilburg University successfully applied for a grant. With this they can further work out a promising or innovative initiative within their research project. We congratulate Inge van de Ven, Bruno Nicenboim, Florian Sniekers en Konrad Turek with this award.

Development in Indonesia of radical and moderate Muslim groups
03rd April 2023In modern Indonesia, different social classes developed their own radical and moderate interpretations of the teachings of Islam in politics and society. PhD candidate Abdul Aziz examined how they construct their ideological legitimacy and are influenced by social developments. Aziz will receive his doctorate on April 5.

22nd March 2023As in recent years, Tilburg University has achieved several top positions in the 2023 QS World University Rankings by Subject. Since the 2020 edition of the ranking, Tilburg University has ranked in the worldwide top 100 in the broad faculty area of Social Sciences & Management.
