General practitioner care for international students
15th April 2024As of today, international students in Tilburg can access general practitioner care provided by PrimaryCare for internationals (PC4i). PC4i offers temporary basic general practitioner care.

Logging on to Canvas and Osiris with Multi-Factor Authentication
15th April 2024Osiris and Canvas will be secured with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) by means of the Microsoft Authenticator app. This change will go into effect for Canvas on May 14 and for Osiris in mid-August. Please make sure you have installed the Microsoft Authenticator app and linked it to your account so you will be able to log on.

Application period for Tilburg University Card successfully shortened
15th April 2024All new students and staff need to have a Tilburg University Card. However, both students and staff were confronted with long waiting times, of up to 6-8 weeks. The efforts to improve the application process have been successful: the application period has been almost halved.

Tilburg University ranks high internationally in Business, Economics, and Law
26th October 2023Tilburg University’s international reputation for teaching and research have once more been confirmed with good scores, especially within the fields of Business & Economics and Law. This is evident from the results of both the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2024 and the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) 2023 by ShanghaiRanking, which were released this week.

Student athletes and the art of balancing athletics and education
24th October 2023Tilburg University’s Wall of Fame welcomes two new inductees this year. Cindy van der Zanden plays softball and has recently qualified for the final round of the 2024 World Championship with Team Kingdom of the Netherlands Women's Fastpitch. Davy Brand has won multiple Dutch and European titles in martial arts, including that of European Kyokushin champion in 2016 and 2021. In 2022, he became world champion.

Winner student challenge in South Africa
23rd October 2023During her exchange semester at the University of Cape Town, Eva Ruzius, third-year student of the Bachelor Global Law participated in a student challenge. This challenge was organized as part of OCW's knowledge mission to South Africa. Eva and her group presented a solution to the challenge ''How can HEIs equip graduates with the right skills to implement a circular economy in the different economic sectors graduates will be employed". With this solution, they won the challenge.

Wim van de Donk to be presented with Visser-Neerlandia Award on October 13
12th October 2023As King’s Commissioner for the province of North Brabant, Professor Wim van de Donk worked to strengthen collaboration between North Brabant and Flanders. In recognition of this achievement, the ANV (Algemeen Nederlands Verbond) will present him with the annual Visser-Neerlandia Award in Leuven on October 13.

Coming Out Day 2023 – Do you already share your pronouns?

Starbucks and AH to go reopen after temporary closure

Investment Round One Ventures April
05th October 2023On April 3, during the first joint alumni event of the two universities, the Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij (BOM), Eindhoven University of Technology and Tilburg University (on behalf of Starterslift Investments fund) announced that they are investing 400,000 euros in the Round One Ventures student fund.
