LUCE
Luce/Center for Religious Communication's mission is to provide post-initial education and theological training for the benefit of pastors and other professionals who encounter questions of faith, fulfillment, and ethics in their work. In addition, Luce develops a range of lectures, study days, conferences, and courses for others interested in theology, church, and society.
In the coming years, Luce's range of activities will evolve into a range related to Lifelong Development, in collaboration with other Tilburg University Schools.
For continuing education for theologically trained professionals, a connection to current developments within the fields (especially spiritual care, pastoral care, and education) is important.
Furthermore, within theology, Luce aims to develop activities that contribute to the search for answers to the great challenges of our society. It is about "the good society," with as important themes the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals, citizenship, poverty and prosperity, well-being, and health. These activities are aimed particularly at professionals in civil society organizations and business community.
