Biodiversity

This is consistent with the Brabantstad vision and the strengthening of the green-blue network. This means that the Stadsbos013 is interwoven with the entire Kennisas (towards the city center). This brings us closer to objectives on nature, but also improves the quality of the business climate and the quality of life. More specific measures are detailed by a landscape architect in the landscape design, in consultation with the municipality.

At the Warande campus and the other locations of Tilburg University, we are working on improving biodiversity, including:

• Green maintenance measures (not always removing leaves, branches and old trees and leaving wild herbs)

• reducing petrification
• collecting and reusing rainwater
• creating a community garden
