Partners TILT

Tenders

We aim to make an active contribution to limiting adverse consequences for people and the environment. We focus on this in our management and purchase of business assets and whenever we select partners such as suppliers.

We actively contribute to solutions in the following ways:

Promoting circularity by:

  • the responsible use of raw materials and resources
  • preventing waste
  • eliminating the adverse environmental and social consequences of production processes
  • reducing animal suffering

Which sustainable choices do we make?

  • The PIMMS webshop and our campus store only sell sustainable products
  • make catering and vending more sustainable
  • reuse furniture and office supplies wherever possible
  • opt for sustainable options when purchasing new furniture and office supplies

In addition, at Tilburg University we choose to work with partners who also operate sustainably. We also want to know whether they act accordingly in their own operations.

Tilburg University actively supports the Sustainable Development Goals. We do not want to be involved with companies and organizations that have goals that conflict with achieving the SGDs. We do not invest in companies that contribute to the degradation of ecosystems and the environment. Neither do we invest in organizations that violate human rights or are involved in discrimination, exploitation, corruption or poverty through discriminatory market practices. We have nothing to do with actors in the arms industry or the tobacco industry.
