Lactation room Reitse Poort

The room is located on the second floor and is freely accessible to staff and students. This room is equipped with a comfortable chair, a refrigerator, and small pantry with running water. This room can be locked from the inside.

The procedures for the use of lactation room RP 224 are as follows:

Are you an employee?

• Prior to the lactation period in which the facility will be used, the employee informs Safety & Security, so they can authorize the relevant employee’s Tilburg University card for this room during the lactation period.  Location Safety & Security: Vigilant Building. Telephone: 013-466 3000, alternate number 013-466 8300. You can also send an email to security. In the email, provide the card number of your Tilburg University card. This is needed to gain access to the building.
• Then, you can reserve the lactation room at the preferred time. Check the Outlook Calendar to see the available time slots (Location = RP 224 Lactation room) and make your reservation for expressing milk. 

Are you a student?

• Prior to the period in which the facility will be used, the student informs Safety & Security so that it can authorize the relevant student’s Tilburg University card for this room during the lactation period.  Location Safety & Security: Vigilant Building. Telephone: 013-466 3000, alternate number 013-466 8300. You can also send an email to security. In the email, provide the card number of your Tilburg University card. This is needed to gain access to the building.
• Prior to the lactation period, visit Safety & Security (Vigilant Building). Safety & Security will check the electronic calendar (Outlook) to see if the desired lactation room is already being used by more students or staff as a lactation room. Then, a reservation will be made for the student in this agenda by Safety & Security.

After the lactation period

The student or employee informs Safety & Security that the lactation period is completed, and authorization on the Tilburg University card is lifted.
