Provincial award Hertog Jan for Prof. Dr. Emile Aarts

Prof. Dr. Emile Aarts, former rector magnificus of our university, received the provincial Hertog Jan award during his farewell speech from the hands of provincial executive Martijn van Gruijthuijsen. Aarts received the award because of his dedication and merits for Brabant as professor of Computer Science at the TU/e and Tilburg University, in particular for the realization of the Jheronimus Academy of Data Sciences (JADS).
