Tilburg University presents TUNED IN: Network for educational innovation
At Tilburg University, offering high-value education to our students is a major priority, and we are committed to supporting lecturers in designing and innovating our education. That is why we are investing in TUNED IN: the Tilburg University Network for Educational Development and Innovation.
TUNED IN aims to stimulate and facilitate educational development and innovation across campus, to fine-tune our education for our students, and to prepare them for the future. These goals align with Tilburg University’s vision on education, the Tilburg Educational Profile. By creating a community of all our lecturers, junior and senior, and all educational support staff, including designers, assessment specialists and innovative thinkers, we will stimulate collaboration, co-creation, and mutual learning. This community makes it possible to share initiatives across Departments and Schools, improving the quality of our education and aiming to inspire our lecturers and educational support staff.
Connecting, sharing, working together
Connecting, sharing experiences, and working together are key. The TUNED IN community facilitates sharing experiences as a learning organization and nourishes a culture of cooperation and growth. An Academic Lead will work closely with the TUNED IN stakeholders to reach the community goals.
Blended learning
One of the first TUNED IN projects will be the implementation of blended learning in our degree programs. This means that we will focus on (re)designing courses and programs and continuously improving our academic education, using effective teaching principles.
Start
