National Career Week

During this Internship-session, you will get the chance to delve into  the world of internships. An internship is an invaluable experience. Not only will it look good on a future resume, but also it allows you a sneak peek into your potential career field, gives you industry contacts, and helps you develop relevant skills. You should absolutely consider doing at least one internship during your university years (if not multiple), and during this session we give you tips and tricks to increase your odds of scoring one.

Have you ever wondered what it is like to study or work and live in a foreign country? Are you curious to hear what experiences other people had? During this International Experience-session, you will get the chance to hear what it is like to do an exchange or to work abroad as an expat. Experts by experience will tell their stories and there is room for your own questions in the interviews afterwards.

Are you interested in innovation and entrepreneurship? During this Innovation-session, we will tell you everything about the possibilities within Tilburg University in the field of entrepreneurship, including the IQONIC Incubator, the Tilburg University Challenge and the monthly entrepreneurship day with workshops and inspiration sessions and where you can meet other (student) entrepreneurs. Did you know that there is a dual career arrangement that makes the combination of study and entrepreneurship possible? You also get to work on creating solutions for problems that you observe in daily life - often the basis for a new business. Who knows, it may even lead to an idea for further development in the Tilburg University Challenge!

Would you like to know how to make impact on society?  During this Impact-webinar, three alumni with different backgrounds will inform you about the impact on society they are making! How do they contribute in their career and how did they make a difference when they were still a student? In addition, they will give advice in developing practical skills and motivation for those who are focusing on societal change. Alumni representing a government institution, an NGO and a societal organization will share their stories.
