Published: 28th June 2023 Last updated: 28th June 2023

As of September 2023, 5 new TSHD Research Traineeships projects will start. The Research Traineeships programs allows researchers to hire students as research trainees to assist with their research projects. The interdisciplinary research projects are designed specifically for the program and are coordinated by staff members from at least two different TSHD departments to promote collaboration within the School.

Examples of topics that were awarded the traineeships this year include mind wandering, multilingual depression vlogs, social robots as brainstorming partners, collaborative learning, and cross-lingual investigations of thick concepts. As such, the project coordinators are seeking 10 student assistants in total. Depending on the project, trainees will contribute to the project for approximately 6 hours per week during the academic year 2023-2024 (projects approximately 4 months). Advanced (at least 120 ECTS) and talented TSHD students can apply.

For more information on the different projects, see the Research Traineeships website. Students can find more information on how to apply or how to contact the respective coordinator in the proposals on the website.
