Sanita van Wyk serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Human Rights and the Environment as a Book Review Editor. This year, the journal hosted a symposium on 22-23 June 2023, at Cardiff University in Cardiff (Wales). Sanita acted as a discussant of two papers.
The goal of the JHRE Symposium is to bring together academics, practitioners, and activists to discuss a small number of early-stage papers that engage in critical theoretical and doctrinal examinations within the context of human rights and the environment. Papers selected for discussion at the Symposium, were selected based on their scholarly quality, novelty, and relevance.
