Dr Tronel Joubert was invited to the symposium,"The latest developments in Consumer Protection Law" in South Africa hosted by Akademia, to present a paper.
The presentation indicated how Legal Design can contribute to reform the landscape of Consumer Protection worldwide. It took the UN's Sustainable Development Goals as backdrop and showed that Legal Design contributes in its broadest form to transparency, better understanding of the law and accessibility to processes available to all persons.
