Trisha Cruz won 'Best Teacher Award for Joint Bachelor in Data Science (Tilburg University and Technical University Eindhoven)'
D.S.A. Pattern is the study association for all Data Science students. To show our gratitude to the teachers, we (the Bachelor Education Committee) started to hand out Best Teacher Awards once per academic year. This year's voting was divided into 4 categories: Bachelor Data Science major courses, Bachelor Data Science electives, Master Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and the Master Data Science and Entrepreneurship. Students needed to indicate whether they were actually following the program and after this, they were asked to indicate which courses they followed to create a sample. Every student had 1 vote to give to a teacher and combining this information, we were able to determine the winners for the specific categories. Students also had the opportunity to give a comment to why this teacher should win the prize. Trisha won the Bachelor electives award because she teaches with passion, is easy going and very easy to reach out to.
