Studium Generale for students
For you as a student, Studium Generale (SG) offers a wide variety of interesting lectures and other events. You do not need any specific prior knowledge to visit our events.
If you sign up for the Studium Generale certificate, you show you are prepared to go the extra mile and that you are broadly interested beyond your own field, a quality that future employers will appreciate.
For Data Science Bachelor’s students, there is a special arrangement to earn so-called USE points.

As a Tilburg University student, you can do much more to to develop a taste for learning: join the Studium Generale lectures, debates and symposia! As proof of your academic curiosity, you can obtain the Studium Generale certificate this semester and put it on your CV.

Students and associations can apply for subsidy for study trips and new activities that are educational in the field of science and society ('Understanding Society').

Data Science students (BSc) are able to use Tilburg Studium Generale activities that are similar to USE-related TU/e Studium Generale activities for completion of their USE learning line trajectory.
